In the Summer of 2005 the Consortium made the decision to manage the centre indirectly. A contracting board considered the offers to set up the CIOMIJAS management. This was entrusted for 10 years to the Temporary Union of Companies (UTE) - made up of GDT Asesoramiento Empresarial, S.L. (GDT Group) and Residencial Torrealmádena, S.A. (MS Hotels).

GDT Asesoramiento Empresarial, S.L. (GDT) is an Andalusian company specialized in training, consulting and technical help in the tourist sector. It belongs to the Grupo GDT (GDT Group) – also including Formación Digital, S.L. and Descartes Multimedia, S.L., – and the Malaga firm Residencial Torrealmádena, S.A. with the hotels included in the MS Hoteles brand. They jointly put forward the Technical Proposal. This was to contract the indirect management of the training services, the hotel school, the students halls of residence, their dining-room and the cafeteria of the Andalusian Centre for Integral Training in the Leisure Industries (CIOMIJAS).

Both companies committed themselves to combining their resources, knowledge and experience. They merged strengths and specializations to achieve an integrated and harmonious management of the whole complex.
The objective of the contract, set out in the second clause of the Administrative Clause Document is the management of the services, stated further on, that the facilities at the CIOMIJAS complex will provide.

The centre also offers the synergies of tourism and training. Due to its characteristics and the undertaking of the Administrations, the Centre has become the reference point and the model for tourist training and management.
It is, in fact, a “glass house”. What is done there and how it is done is permanently observed by all who make up the Andalusian tourist system.
