The educational program of CIOMIJAS, aimed at young unemployed individuals, is characterized by an attractive offer of specialized courses, whose principal target is to respond to the increasing demands of professionals in the tourism and leisure industry.
In order to qualify as a center of reference in the integrated tourism education, in continuous adaptation to the current and future needs of the sector, CIOMIJAS presents diverse and attractive on site education program, of on-presence-character and of variable durations, which offer a wide range of professional success and high possibilities of future employment for the students, since those courses are dealing with demanding professionals in today´s tourism and leisure industry.
Methodology
The courses of specialization will start thanks to a new education system, in which theory and practice will be combined, putting the students in real-life situations.
Furthermore, the center provides a 4-Star Hotel, Calamijas Hotel, in which the students are able to put into practice the professional skills necessary for any profile in the tourism and leisure industry, experiencing real life situations with which they will be confronted once their studies are finished.
Residence Program
CIOMIJAS provides a student residence that sleeps up to 116 students, as well as the following facilities: A snack bar, a dining area and a self-service laundry, amongst others. This way, those who decide to study as residencial students are able to do so; furthermore they may participate in cultural and sporting activities, which are offered extra-scholar.
